Lucky Luke is stepping out of the comic book pages and onto the screen in a brand-new TV adaptation!
Created in 1946 by Morris and later reinvented by René Goscinny, the legendary lone cowboy returns in a new miniseries co-produced by France Télévisions and Disney+. Available since March 23, 2026, this live-action series, spanning eight 35-minute episodes, offers a modern and ambitious reimagining of a cult classic.

Directed by Benjamin Rocher and created by Mathieu Leblanc and Thomas Mansuy, the series strikes a careful balance between humor, action, and emotion, while remaining true to the spirit of the original work.
In this new adventure, Lucky Luke, portrayed by Alban Lenoir, encounters Louise, an 18-year-old woman played by Billie Blain, who has set out to search her missing mother. Together, they travel across the vast plains of the Wild West , only to find themselves entangled in a far-reaching mystery, one that threatens to alter the course of history itself. Due to hand injury, Lucky Luke is no longer the man “who shoots faster than his shadow.” Yet through relentless chases, startling revelations, and unexpected encounters, he’ll have to push beyond his limits to ensure justice prevails.

Fans of this universe will also recognize iconic figures from the original comic, including the Dalton brothers, Billy the Kid, and Calamity Jane. The cast also includes Alice Taglioni, Jérôme Niel, Victor Leblond, and Camille Chamoux, forming a stellar lineup to breathe new life into this legendary universe.
Produced by Federation Studios and Un pour tous Productions, this series aims to be both a respectful tribute and a contemporary reinterpretation, designed to resonate with audiences across generations. Blending nostalgia with a modern edge, Lucky Luke is back for a new, thrilling journey into the heart of the Wild West.
