Seth is an aspiring sorcerer from the Pompo Hills region. Like all sorcerers, he’s an “infected”: one of the rare living beings to have survived contact with the Nemeses, those creatures falling from the sky, infecting and decimating everyone they touch. His apparent immunity led him to choose a path that seemed predestined: : to become a Hunter and fight the Nemeses. But more than that, Seth wishes to embark on a quest that goes beyond simply hunting monsters... He wants to find the Radiant, their presumed birthplace. Surrounded by a faction of sorcerers, he travels the world in search of the Radiant, under the watchful eye of the Inquisition...
