Burgers worthy of a sheriff!
Lucky Luke set up shop at Quick on December 17, offering a complete burger experience with two brand-new burgers. These delicious recipes with a taste of the Wild West are served in a bun shaped like a sheriff’s star. With the Ranch Cheese Beef and the Spicy Guacamole Chicken, your trip to the plains of the American West is guaranteed. And to extend the experience at home, you can take home a genuine album of the adventures of the most famous lonesome cowboy by adding just €2 to your Lucky Luke menu purchase.
What’s more, Angoulême’s FIBD and Quick have announced their partnership from 2025 onwards, dedicated to the promotion of comics and Reading for All. This will give rise to a number of features and activities to be discovered during the next edition of the world’s leading 9th art festival, including, for the first time, an immersive virtual reality experience based around Lucky Luke! This game, offered in the Quick space on rue Hergé, was co-produced with Parc Spirou Provence and created by the young Angoumois studio Kalank.
Always the sharp shooter in bookshops
Volume 11 of the adventures of Lucky Luke by Jul and Achdé is now available in bookshops everywhere! For the first time, Lucky Luke is confronted with America’s industrial modernity: a gigantic “beer strike” paralyzes the breweries and threatens the way of life of the entire Far West! Caught between the bosses and the unionists, the lone cowboy has to redouble his efforts to resolve the conflict, but the Daltons complicate matters… The album, available since November 15, is already shaping up to be one of the hits of 2024.
Lucky Luke, back on screens!
In October, filming began on the new Lucky Luke live-action series, directed by Benjamin Rocher (La Horde, 2009; Antigang, 2015) and produced by Federation Studio France and Un Pour Tous Productions. The series features some big names, including Alban Lenoir (Balle perdue, 2020; Antigang, 2015) as our lone cowboy, and Billie Blain (Le Règne Animal) as Louise. This series combining humor, action and adventure in the heart of the Wild West will be available on Disney+ and broadcast by France Télévision.
In this all-new series, Lucky Luke, the legendary lone cowboy, must help Louise, an 18-year-old girl… as prickly as a cactus and more unpredictable than a rabid coyote. Together, they embark on a quest across the Wild West to find Louise’s mysteriously missing mother, while foiling a plot that could change the course of American history! A thrilling adventure that explores both the past and the future of the hero who shoots faster than his shadow. Between duels, chases, furious head-butting and unexpected alliances with the Dalton, Billy the Kid and Calamity Jane, our unlikely duo will discover that the greatest challenge is not to save America… but to team up!
